Alabama University Architecture Design Freshman Residence Hall Architecture Design University of Alabama

The University of Alabama at Birmingham desired to complete the east edge of the new Campus Green quadrangle with a new freshman residence hall and dining facility to blend and create a more cohesive campus. By utilizing design elements and building materials consistent with other university facilities, Live Design Group worked with the client to provide 753 beds in a suite configuration, student support spaces, administrative offices and a computer room. A freshman residence design common area was created to provide a third place element to the community of the dorm. -via-
